Hey Pirl! Thanks for answering my last question... well it's kind of embarrasing, but when I'm on my period, I leak! I'ts soooo embarassing, I feel like going to the toilets every 5 minutes to check, i dont use tampons yet... i've tried and tried,i just cant seem to find the right hole... and i want to, but cant seem to do it... but the other day i thought, why don't i try just quickly? So i did, and it went in, but it poked out, so i think it was just too big... what do you think?? PS next time im on my period im gunna try again with a smaller one.. Thanks, Sezzy

I just turned 14, I have pubic hair, I have been getting white discharge for almost 3 years (a couple months under), I have armpit hair, have very small breasts that occasionally hurt/itch, all my friends have their period and have larger breasts, I have tried breast massages to try to make them grow, which didn't work, I am 5'5 and 91 pounds, my mom is half Japanese and white, my dad is a black Puerto Rican, I was going to take breast enhancement pills, but did research and learned they'd have the opposite effect, I ate a lot for two weeks (three dinners a night) and I didn't gain any weight because I have a very fast metabolism. My friend is 85 pounds and 5'4 and she already got her period. Is there any help or advice that you can give me for either breast growth, starting my period, or anything?

It's frustrating when your friends are in a different place, but, what's happening is normal. Everyone starts their period at different times and for you not to have started yet is not uncommon at all.
Your body shape is basically hardwired. You can increase muscle mass by working out, or you can increase your weight by eating a ginormous amount of fatty foods (not recommended and who knows where the fat will settle), but there's no magic pill to naturally increase breast size.
The secret to happiness is being happy with who you are - fat or thin, tall or short, big- or small-breasted.

Well, when i finished my first period I started getting wierd discharge stuff. Another website said that it was normal and every girl gets it... but im not sure, I've had my period for just over a year and this whitish stuff (sometimes smells a bit like piiss-ants) is in my undies ALL THE TIME, but it goes away when i've got my period, then comes back again when m,y period is finished... Should I be worried? Is this normal?

Having a clear or milky or white discharge between periods is normal. However, if the odor is bad, you might have an infection.

This is embaressing, but I kinda need to know! Well, I wanted to know if its possible to sweat around your vagina? Sometimes after being outside for awhile or moving around alot, in my underwear I have discharge and it has an odor. Could this be an infection, or DO you sweat? Thank you!

We can sweat around the vagina, but a discharge would be something else.
Discharge is normal, but if there is an unpleasant odor, you might have an infection.
Suggest you get checked out by your provider to get it cleared up.

okay, its kind of embarrassing but around my "vag" i get these bumps. Getting rid of razor bumps can take awhile. There are a few tips you can follow:
use some type of softening foam, shave in the direction the hair grows, don't use a razor with too many blades.

It sounds like the best thing would be for you to see a healthcare provider to discuss your concerns.
If you are sexually active, then testing for pregnancy or STDs may be appropriate.
If you don't have a doctor you feel comfortable seeing, then somewhere like Planned Parenthood might be an option.
Your school nurse might be able to give you some guidance on where to be seen as well (they wouldn't need to know details, just that you want to be seen).

You should get checked out by your provider if you have an unpleasant odor. You might have an infection that needs some simple treatment.
As for the shape you describe, it's doubtful that there's any connection to the odor and you can't change the shape without surgery. But, you need to realize that women come in many shapes - there is no "perfect" shape.

Menstruation starts during puberty, and that starts at various ages. Some girls don't start puberty until they're 14 and some start as young as 8.

Ok so this question might be a little too graphic..just a warning. I've been having sex since i was 13,don't judge, and i kept having it until i was 15 not once have I ever experienced and orgasm while having sex. I am 16 now and still havent even with anyone touching in that area. if I rub around down there I can make myself but not when I penetrate well I was curious and was wondering if I could orgasm if I did "finger" myself. well i accidentally scratched the lower wall of my vagina,the one closest to my butt, and I didn't feel anything. I scratched a bit harder and still didn't; is this why I've never had and orgasm this way, and if so, why don't I feel there? Is something terribly wrong?

I think this question relates to locating exactly where the clitoris is located. It is not located near the walls of the vagina. The clitoris is located where the 2 soft inner lips meet at the front part of your body. It is covered with a fold of tissue called the forchet. It is the direct pressure to this very sensitive area that causes an orgasm. Because of the location of the clitoris it is not unusual for a woman not to achieve orgasm during penetration. In that instance direct stimulation before penetration would be the best option.

Each girl is different, and each day of a girl's period may be different.
It could be that you will start out with light bleeding, followed by a few days of heavy bleeding and then a couple of days of light bleeding.
Or perhaps each day will be the same.

ok this might be sort of long but im not sure what to do.. about 3 weeks ago i went into the doctor and had a bacterial infection, well not long after taking the medicine, i began to bleed alot.. at first it was large clumps of blood and discharge for a few days, then the blood turned into a brownish discharch and has been coming for a about two weeks.. what could this be? If you saw your doctor and she said you're OK, that's a good start.
There's no one size for labia, so don't feel that yours are abnormal in any way.
If tight clothes are uncomfortable, you may need to loosen them up a bit.
If walking is uncomfortable, visit a gynecologist and get a second opinion about your labia.
We don't encourage surgery to reduce the size, as it's not a simple procedure and can leave you with long-term side effects.
